What is a private travel concierge?

A private travel concierge is a single, dedicated advisor who plans, books, and manages all of your travel: flights, hotels, transfers, dining, and last-minute changes. Unlike a booking website or a call-center queue, a private travel concierge learns your preferences over time, handles logistics proactively, and is reachable directly when something goes wrong. The Travel Guild provides one named advisor on a flat monthly membership rather than a rotating team.

How much does a private travel concierge cost?

The Travel Guild charges a flat membership of $249 per month, or $2,499 per year. There are no per-trip booking fees and no markups added to your hotel or flight rates. The membership is the only thing you pay us, and it is the same amount whatever a member books.

What is the difference between a travel concierge and a travel agent?

A travel agent typically books a specific trip for a commission and may not retain context about you between trips. A private travel concierge is an ongoing relationship: one advisor who keeps your preferences, points, and status on file, manages every trip across the year, and troubleshoot problems in real time. The Travel Guild's model is concierge-style. A dedicated human on retainer, not a transaction.

Does a travel concierge handle both business and family travel?

Hotels & villas: booked at the rate available direct, with preferred-partner upgrades and credits requested on eligible stays.
Ground transport: private transfers, car services, and rail, confirmed before you travel.
Itinerary planning: day-by-day structure and honest destination advice for the trips that need it.
Dining & experiences: reservations, private guides, and access you couldn’t book yourself.
Emergency support: priority response for the duration of any active trip, targeting 15 minutes at any hour through the emergency line.
Travel insurance: the right policy for the trip, arranged for you. (Claims are handled by the insurer.)
